3 Huntsville storm warning sirens out of commission

HUNTSVILLE — The Huntsville/Madison County Emergency Management Agency and city of Huntsville report three outdoor warning sirens are down for repairs.

The weather forecast is for thunderstorms and possible severe weather this afternoon.

The sirens are at:

  • Kelly Spring Road at Wagon Wheel subdivision
  • Dunlop Boulevard, (formerly Zierdt Road at Colonial Grand)
  • Fire Station 15 at 4801 Sparkman Drive
Residents need to have multiple ways to receive warnings such as NOAA Alert Radio, cell phone apps and local broadcast media.
