Aderholt and Strong join county incumbents in holding seats across Valley

HUNTSVILLE — While the nation and the world waited to see who won the race for president, the local and congressional results came in from across the Tennessee Valley.

U.S. Reps. Robert Aderholt and Dale Strong are headed back to represent their districts in Washington. Aderholt (R-Hanceville) and Strong (R-Monrovia) had no challengers in Tuesday’s election.

Races for county commission were held in Franklin, Jackson, Limestone, Madison, and Marshall counties.
