ALDOT plans more I-65 paving northbound in Morgan County

DECATUR — Alabama Department of Transportation crews will again be in Morgan County this week to repave portions of Interstate 65 southbound.

Motorists are advised to expect delays due to single-lane closures Tuesday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. If weather permits, some paving may also take place today, though currently, rain is forecast.

Crews will repair areas of I-65 southbound between Exit 328 (Alabama 36) in Hartselle and Exit 322 (County Road 55) in Falkville. They will be working Tuesday from Exit 328 to the Parker Road overpass, Wednesday south of Exit 325 (Thompson Road), and Thursday north of Exit 322.

Last week, ALDOT crews paved I-65 northbound in the Hartselle and Priceville areas in Morgan County.
