ALDOT to start repairs to US 43 bridge over Cedar Creek

RUSSELLVILLE — Motorists on U.S. 43 near Russellville should expects traffic delays over the next few days.

The Alabama Department of Transportation will begin repairs today on the U.S. 43 bridge over Cedar Creek near Russellville.

Weather permitting, ALDOT said it anticipates beginning the closure of the outside southbound lane of the bridge mid-morning today and reopening the lane Thursday afternoon.

ALDOT said motorists should reduce speed and prepare to merge when approaching the work zone.
