A&M outfielder Trey Rutledge, nation’s leader in on-base percentage, named 2nd team All-SWAC

NORMAL — Alabama A&M University outfielder Trey Rutledge, who leads the nation and the Southwestern Athletic Conference in on-base percentage, was named to the SWAC Baseball Postseason second team, the conference announced.

Rutledge played in and started in 41 games for the Bulldogs this season. His .567 on-base percentage is tops in the country and conference. He is seventh in stolen bases per game, 16^th in runs per game and 20^th in stolen bases.

The redshirt junior from led Alabama A&M in batting (.397), runs scored (56), walks (37) and stolen bases (34-of-37). In addition, he registered 50 hits, including seven doubles, three triples and one home run, while driving in 13.
