HUNTSVILLE — Two southern staples will be on hand next month for the Bluegrass & BBQ Festival.
Presented by the South Huntsville Main Business Association and Madison County Commissioner Phil Riddick, the free event returns Oct. 12, from 1-7 p.m. at Huntsville’s Southside Park on Chaney Thompson Road.
“We are again very excited about the event this year,” said Riddick. “We will be changing the format slightly to improve the listening experience with four bands instead of three and starting a little bit earlier. This is always a great event and as usual will be a wonderful way to spend a fall Saturday afternoon with the family and enjoy some great bluegrass music.”
The festival features toe-tapping bluegrass music, delicious barbecue, and fun for the whole family. The Becky Buller Band, the Grasstronauts, Ancient Tones, and Jim & Inge Wood will perform. The music begins at 1 p.m.
Along with tunes to satisfy musical tastes, food trucks will be at the park to satisfy every craving.
