HUNTSVILLE — A driver was injured Sunday in a single-car wreck that knocked out electricity to thousands of residents in south Huntsville.
Huntsville Utilities said its Electric Operations crews responded to the outage, which was reported around 6:25 p.m., and discovered the wreck on Triana Boulevard. The crews notified Huntsville Police, Huntsville Fire & Rescue and HEMSI.
The driver was taken to Huntsville Hospital Trauma Services with non-life-threatening injuries, according the HEMSI’s Don Webster.
