FLORENCE — If you love Christmas music, the Shoals is ring-a-linging your song.
From John Paul White to the University of North Alabama Choruses to the Shoals Symphony Orchestra, northwest Alabama is jing-a-linging with holiday spirit next week.
First up, on Tuesday, is the UNA Department of Music and “Sing the Holidays,” featuring the UNA Choruses, with Rebecca Rockhill and Ian Loeppky as directors, and Karen Cantrell and William Hueholt as collaborative pianists. Join the chorus singers at First Presbyterian Church in Florence at 7 p.m. Admission is free.

Join the orchestra’s principal players for this holiday celebration, which, in addition to the music, also includes beverages and a selection of appetizers served in multiple courses. The performance is at the SSO’s home, Norton Auditorium on UNA’s campus.
