Gadsden State hosting free public information and branding class

GADSDEN – Gadsden State Community College is hosting a free Public Information and Branding Class for law enforcement personnel, first responders, business leaders, and school officials. It is in collaboration with the Etowah County District Attorney’s Office and the Etowah County Board of Education.

The one-day course offers seven hours of Continuing Education Units and provides the skills to manage communications effectively and build a strong, positive image for their organizations. Lunch will be provided.

“Communicating clearly and honestly helps people trust us and feel more connected to their community,” said Gadsden State Chief of Police Jay Freeman. “We aim to provide these professionals with the tools they need to share important information in a way that truly resonates and fosters confidence and unity.”

This free course will be led by Corey Dobridnia, public information officer with the Walton County (Fla.) Sheriff’s Office. Recognized as Public Information Officer of the Year by multiple associations, she brings a wealth of communications experience.
