Huntsville companies on $2.5B Space Systems Command contract

LOS ANGELES — Three Huntsville-based companies are part of a $2.5 billion Space Systems Command contract.

Axient, NTSI, and Sigmatech are among 12 companies, some of which have offices in Huntsville, that have been awarded a $2.5 billion multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the Hemisphere program.

The contract provides for advisory and assistance services for Space System’s Command Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power and Battle Management Command, Control and Communication Program Executive Offices.

Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 3, 2034. The contract was a competitive acquisition, and 40 offers were received.

The Space Systems Command at Los Angeles Air Force Base is the contracting activity.
