MADISON — Expect some travel delays overnight on I-565 westbound near the Town Madison interchange (Exit 10) in Madison County, the Alabama Department of Transportation announced.

Weather permitting, contractors will install striping and transition travel lanes to their final positions. Lanes were previously shifted to accommodate construction of the westbound off- and on-ramps and flyover bridges.

The work will take place from 7 tonight to 2 a.m. Friday. Contractors will close two westbound lanes. A single westbound lane will remain open at all times.

Lane closure times and dates may be subject to change but will remain limited to night/early morning hours to minimize travel impacts.
