Lockheed Martin unit wins $16.1M contract modification for Navy and Coast Guard

WASHINGTON — Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has been awarded a contract modification with some of the work coming to the company’s Huntsville office, the Department of Defense announced.

The $16,182,918 cost-plus-award-fee modification from the DoD is to support systems engineering and software integration for the integrated combat system across the surface force portfolio of the Navy and Coast Guard.

The work is expected to be completed by September. Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
