MDA awards $127M support contract to Assertive Professionals

HUNTSVILLE — North Carolina-based Assertive Professionals has been awarded a $127,330,835 contract from the Missile Defense Agency at Redstone Arsenal.

The company is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business and Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business.

“This award underscores Assertive Professionals’ unwavering commitment to supporting the Department of Defense and national security missions,” said Tiffany Shaffery, founder and CEO of Assertive Professionals. “We are honored to serve the MDA and proud to bring our expertise and cleared professionals to this work.”

Under the five-year contract, Assertive Professionals will provide critical support services, including:

  • General administrative support
  • Specialized correspondence management
  • Staff action and executive administrative support
  • Missile Defense System operations support
  • Protocol and communication support

The work will be performed in Huntsville and five other sites.

The performance period is from December 2024 to December 2029. This contract was competitively procured via publication on the SAM.gov website with nine proposals received.
