National Children’s Advocacy Center aims to get a strike for children, families at benefit Lawn Bowling Bash

HUNTSVILLE — Get ready for a fun-filled evening of friendly competition at the third annual Lawn Bowling Bash, hosted by the National Children’s Advocacy Center’s Young Professional Advisory Council.

The public is invited to a relaxed evening of lawn bowling, good company, and fundraising to support NCAC’s mission. Seasoned bowlers and first-timers are invited to put together teams and put their skills to the test. For those who prefer to just watch, social tickets are also available.

The Lawn Bowling Bash will be Aug. 14 from 5:30-8 p.m. on the Butler Green at Campus 805.

Founded in 1985, the NCAC pioneered the Children’s Advocacy Center model, a multidisciplinary approach to responding to child abuse that is now used in more than 1,100 centers across the United States and in more than 40 countries.

Each year, the NCAC serves hundreds of children and families in Madison, Huntsville, and Madison County and trains thousands of professionals globally.
