FLORENCE – Scott Croisant has logged millions of miles since graduating from Wilson High School more than 40 years ago.

His journey began as a Marine serving in Lebanon and continues as a driver for Greenbush Logistics in Tuscumbia.

For his service, U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville recognized Croisant, a former Marine corporal, as the April “Veteran of the Month.”

“In a time when we are facing shortages in the trucking industry, Alabama’s veterans are helping fill this vital need in our economy,” Tuberville (R-Auburn) said. “One such veteran is Scott Croisant of Florence. Scott joined the United States Marine Corps in 1982 after graduating from Wilson High School. While in the Marines, he trained to become a truck driver.”

“After completing his time in the military, Scott served in law enforcement before entering the trucking industry.” Tuberville said. “For more than 24 years, he has driven a truck for Greenbush Logistics out of its Tuscumbia location. Scott spends many, many early mornings and late nights on the road to keep our supply chains moving. He is committed to ensuring folks across the southeast get the building materials they need on time. Scott has an incredible record of driving more than 2 million accident-free miles.”

Tuberville also said Croisant is a “trusted mentor” to truckers in training.

“He has helped train nearly 100 new truck drivers,” he said. “Alabama is thankful for Scott’s service to our country, and his tireless efforts to keep Alabama’s economy moving.”
