PeopleTec donation to expand opportunities for cyber students

HUNTSVILLE – The Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering received a $250,000 donation this week from Huntsville technology innovator, PeopleTec.

“We are immensely grateful to PeopleTec for their remarkable support,” said school President Matt Massey. “This contribution will enable us to further elevate our technology and engineering programs, ensuring that our students receive a world-class education and are well-prepared to tackle the ever-evolving challenges in the cyber domain.”

The money will go toward developing practical skills, encouraging critical thinking, and promoting collaborative problem-solving among the students.

The gift will also help the school to enhance its curriculum, invest in cutting-edge technology, and expand opportunities for students to engage in experiential learning.

“PeopleTec is extremely proud to support the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering,” said CEO Terry Jennings. “It is the perfect example of an educational vision attained.”

Company President Doug Scalf said ASCTE is the consummate model of future technical instruction.

“The value of ASCTE as a ‘guiding light’ is incalculable now and will be accurately determined by the professional products of its graduates,” said Scalf.
