HUNTSVILLE – The Huntsville Medical District is in the core of the city around Governors Drive with Huntsville Hospital, Women’s and Children’s Hospital, the UAB Medicine facility and physicians’ and medical offices in the immediate area.

The city also has a “Medical District South” underway in the Airport Road/Whitesburg Drive area with Crestwood Hospital and physicians’ and medical offices nearby.

Now, the latest to join the southern district is Rheumatology Associates of North Alabama.

Construction firm Robins & Morton has just completed RANA’s medical office building in south Huntsville.

“Patients, providers, and staff all enjoy our new facility since we moved in mid-August,” RANA’s Dr. Kun Chen said. “The new state-of-the-art building provides easy patient access and is specifically designed to provide multilevel and complicated care to patients who need rheumatology service.

“We are proud to be part of the wonderful and growing Huntsville community and will continue to provide the best care for many years to come.”

Sitting on 2.1 acres on Whitesburg Drive in the Bellewood Park neighborhood, the single-story, 20,500-square-foot facility features 24 exam rooms, four nurses stations, a lab, an infusion room, an X-ray room, and numerous offices.
