ARAB – A recent donation will be a cut above for the Arab Parks & Recreation Department.

Lynn and Donna Tidmore, whose commitment to improving the community, donated three mowers to enhance the maintenance of Arab’s parks and green spaces.

“We are incredibly grateful to Lynn and Donna Tidmore for their generous donation,” said Mayor Bob Joslin. “Their support and this donation reflect the Tidmores’ dedication to making Arab a better place to live and enjoy.”

The mowers will significantly improve the efficiency of park maintenance, allowing the Parks & Recreation Department to more effectively manage and maintain the city’s green spaces, sports fields, and public areas, a news release said.

“With the increased fleet capacity, the department will be better equipped to keep the city’s parks in top condition year-round,” the city said.

Lynn and Donna Tidmore have long been active supporters of the Arab community, contributing to various local initiatives and causes.

Their latest gift further demonstrates their deep-rooted commitment to the wellbeing and quality of life in Arab, the city said.

“The City of Arab Parks & Recreation Department and the community extend their heartfelt thanks to the Tidmores for this generous donation, which will have a lasting positive impact on the city’s parks and public spaces,” the statement said.
