HUNTSVILLE — The Missile Defense Agency has awarded its TEAMS Next Agency Operations contract to VetTech, a joint venture between Virginia-based MDW Associates and Vali, a Huntsville-based Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business. MDW is the managing partner.

The total price of the competitive cost-plus-fixed-fee contract is $347,709,008, according to a news release.

VetTech leads a team of six subcontractors, many of which have supported MDA for more than 20 years. The partners include ECS (ecstech.com), a provider of advanced technology, science, and digital transformation solutions.

“I’m incredibly proud of the VetTech team, the dedication of our longstanding MDA professional workforce, and the innovative solutions and support we provide to the agency every day,” said MDW President and CEO Tim Wilde, who is the VetTecH JV chairman. “MDW has its roots supporting MDA. They were our very first government client and we are honored to continue our exceptional support to the agency as part of the VetTech JV.”

Under the contract, VetTech will provide strategic planning and financial management, cost estimating and analysis, accounting and financial improvement, financial systems integration and support, Foreign Military Sales, and Human Capital Management support at MDA headquarters on Redstone Arsenal and more than 20 program and functional offices.

The period of performance is from June 2024 to December 2029.
